Today starts National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo! So what better time to work on a ton of short stories, many of which will appear in my short story book. I'm really excited to think up a ton of ideas and then write them. And then edit them. November's a good month for writing. Busy, but good. And I have to keep up with all the other people writing novels.

New Story Idea
Hey! I've got a new story idea and it's based on the following picture. This is just a taste of how the book will work. This photograph was taken on a beach in Cape Cod and I think a really cool story could come from it:

New Title: Wanderers
A pretty big update! I changed the title of my project from Story Stories, a title resulting from my inability to title multiple stories, to Wanderers. Mainly because all of the pictures have something to do with some sort of wandering.
It's also inspired by a pretty awesome song, which has a bit to do with wandering, and is called Wanderer by Ensiferum. Because why can't music inspire creativity? Here it is:

An Update
Hey! I'm really excited about all the support this project has already gotten! Thanks to all the people who've supported it so far! And one of you lucky people gets to contribute creatively to a story if this happens. I can't wait to see what comes of that!

Project Launched!
After a bit of messing around with the plan I've finally launched my project on kickstarter! You can check it out here:

Approved!
My project idea has been approved on Kickstarter. I'm going to spend the break making sure that the proposal looks as awesome as possible before I post it.
I'm also looking at cameras to invest in before December. Because while I like MY camera, my camera doesn't always like me. And I have a job. And I actually use cameras for photojournalism. I can totally justify it!
The project should be up on Kickstarter the week of October 24th, with as much detail as any writer will ever be able to give.

A New Project
I like to take pictures, and I like to write stories. And recently I've realized that taking pictures can be the same as telling stories. I'm not a stranger to the idea of pictures inspiring stories, because a few stories I've written have been inspired by pictures I've taken. But I want to take that idea one step further. I want to create a book full of stories inspired by pictures, and vice versa.
I think this would be a really interesting project for me, because I love photography and I love writing even more. And I think that there are many stories to be told from what is captured on the camera.
